Day 01: Chennai Arrival
Arrive at Chennai to start your South India Temples and Beaches Tour. Welcome on arrival by our representative at the airport who then escorts you to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Chennai – Mahabalipuram – Chennai
Leave for a full day excursion after breakfast to the famous temple town of Mahabalipuram that is a must visit in every temple tour to South India. Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Shore Temple here. Evening, return to Chennai and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 03: Chennai – Trichy
Breakfast at hotel and then proceed for a half-day city sightseeing tour covering Fort St. George and St. Mary's Church. Check out from hotel at noon and depart for the railway station to board onward train to Trichy, the next destination in South India Temples and Beaches Tour. Our representative greets you on arrival and escorts you to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04: Trichy
Leave for a post-breakfast temple tour to Rock Fort Temple and Srirangam Temple that are largely visited as part of South India tour packages. Return to hotel for night stay.
Day 05: Trichy - Tanjore - Madurai
Today, we take you to the magnificent temple city of Madurai that is the prominent attraction of South India Temples Tour. Morning drive to Madurai. Stop en route at Tanjore for sightseeing at the majestic Chola Temple of Brideshwar. Continue drive to Madurai and transfer to hotel on arrival for the night.
Day 06: Madurai
Today we take you to the spectacular Meenakshi Temple after breakfast at hotel. Spend the day exploring the temple and its exquisite carvings and retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 07: Madurai – Periyar
South India Temples and Beaches Tour today takes you to Periyar in Kerala. Check out from hotel after breakfast and depart for Periyar by road. Transfer to hotel on arrival. After lunch, visit to the aromatic spice plantations. Later take a pleasant boat ride along the serene Periyar Lake and enjoy game viewing. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 08: Periyar – Quilon
Morning transfer to Quilon by road (4 hours). On arrival, we take you on a memorable 3-hour backwater cruise from Kottayam to Alleppey. Drive from Alleppey to Quilon and check-in to hotel on arrival for the night.
Day 09: Quilon
Spend the entire day at leisure and night stay at hotel.
Day 10: Quilon – Cochin
The port city Cochin is the next destination in Temples and Beaches Tours to South India. Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Cochin by road. Check into hotel upon arrival. Later, proceed for a half-day city sightseeing tour covering Jewish Synagogue and Dutch Palace. Enjoy a traditional Kathakali dance performance in the evening before retiring to the hotel for night stay.
Day 12: Cochin – Goa
Goa is the next stopover in South India Beach Tours. Check out from hotel in the morning and departure to Cochin airport to board onward flight to Goa. Assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13: Goa
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Old Goa. Return to the hotel in the evening and stay for the night.
Day 14: Goa – Mumbai
Mumbai is the last stopover in your South India Temples and Beaches Tour Package. Check out from hotel in the morning and drive to Goa airport to board scheduled flight to Mumbai. Check in to hotel upon arrival for night stay.
Day 15: Mumbai
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Mumbai Harbour from where you leave for an excursion to Elephanta Caves. After lunch, proceed for a half-day city sightseeing tour including Malabar Hill, Kamala Nehru Park, Hanging Gardens, Parsi Towers of Silence, Marine Drive, Chowpatty Beach, Prince of Wales Museum and Gateway of India. Also visit the Crawford's Market before heading to the hotel for night stay.
Day 16: Mumbai Departure
South India Temples and Beaches Tour ends today. Day at leisure and then depart for the airport to board scheduled flight back home or to onward destination.
