Day 01: Chennai Arrival
South India Panoramic Tour starts from Chennai. Welcome on arrival by our representative at the airport who transfers you to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Chennai – Mahabalipuram – Chennai
After breakfast at hotel, leave for a full day excursion to the famous temple town of Mahabalipuram that is a must visit in tour to South India. Witness the exquisite rock carvings here and visit the magnificent Shore Temple. Evening, return to hotel for night stay.
Day 03: Chennai – Trichy
Visit Fort St. George and St. Mary's Church in the morning and later at noon, check out from hotel and drive to the railway station to board onward train to Trichy, the next destination in your South India Panoramic Tour. Transfer to hotel on arrival to stay for the night.
Day 04: Trichy
After breakfast at hotel, leave for a temple tour of Rock Fort Temple and Srirangam Temple that are largely visited as part of South India tour packages. Retire to the hotel for the night.
Day 05: Trichy - Tanjore - Madurai
The magnificent temple town of Madurai is the next stopover during your travel to South India. Morning drive to Madurai via Tanjore. Sightseeing at the majestic Chola Temple of Brideshwar here and then continue journey to Madurai. Transfer to hotel upon arrival for night stay.
Day 06: Madurai
Leave for a post breakfast visit to the spectacular Meenakshi Temple that is the most frequented tourist destination of all South India tours. Stay for the night at the hotel.
Day 07: Madurai – Periyar
Continue your panoramic tour of South India to Kerala. Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Periyar by road. Upon arrival, freshen up at the hotel and after lunch, proceed for a visit to the aromatic spice plantations. Later board a pleasant boat ride along the serene Lake Periyar and enjoy game viewing. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 08: Periyar – Quilon
Breakfast at hotel and then transfer to Quilon by road (4 hours). Upon arrival, embark on a three-hour backwater cruise from Kottayam to Alleppey. On arrival at Alleppey, transfer to Quilon by road and stay for the night at the hotel.
Day 09: Quilon
Spend the entire day at leisure. Night stay at hotel.
Day 10: Quilon – Cochin
Te port city Cochin is the last stopover in South India tours. Check out from hotel after breakfast and depart for Cochin by road. Transfer to hotel on arrival and later, half-day city sightseeing tour of Jewish Synagogue and Dutch Palace. Return to the hotel for night stay.
Day 11: Cochin – Mumbai - Departure
South India Panoramic Tour ends today. Post breakfast check out from hotel and drive to airport to board connecting flight to Mumbai. We take you on a half-day city sightseeing tour on arrival covering the Gateway of India, Dhobi Ghat, Rajabai Clock Tower, Marine Drive, Aquarium, Hanging Garden, Crawford Market, Victoria Terminus and Prince of Wales Museum. Later proceed to the airport to board onward flight back home.
