Chennai is also well connected to all the major places of Tamil Nadu by road. Chennai is also connected by government bus services which operate within Tamil Nadu and other prominent states. These buses start from Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminal at Jawaharlal Nehru Salai, Koyembedu. It is the largest bus station in Asia.
